Opening layouts with 3.0.4

With these instructions you can open the layouts send to you from Singulase via email.

1. Install 3DVideo 3.0.4 if it is not yet installed to your computer. If you have not rebooted your computer after install, please do it now.

2. There are two files attached to your email. One is named as "*.vcp" (normally "components.vcp"), other is named as "*.vcm" (asterix (*) stands for any name). Save both files to a proper folder, for example to C:/Visual Components/3.0/My Layouts/.

3. Start 3DVideo 3.0 by bouble-clicking the "3DVideo 3.0" -icon on your desktop.

4. Open *.vcp: Click the "Open" -button, select the rigth folder to "Look in:" -field, select "Packages (*.vcp)" to "Files of type" -field and double-click the vcp-file. You can also open the file by dragging it with your mouse from Explorer to 3DVideo.

5. Select "Local Components" to "Target eCat" -field. Click "Install" -button.

6. Open "*.vcm": Click the "Open" -button, select rigth folder to "Look in:" -field, select "Components and Layouts (*.vcm, *.rsc)" to "Files of type" -field and double-click the vcm-file. You can also open the file by dragging it with your mouse from Explorer to 3DVideo.
